Our History & Commitment to Quality Service and Construction

Denny Hornbeck Construction, also known as DHC Services, was established in 1975, combining Denny's skills as a journeyman carpenter and Nancy's talents as a real estate agent and apartment manager. Although we started small, focusing on apartments, with Paragon, Mullinex, and Lipton as our early customers, we also built houses and did commercial remodeling.

By the mid 1980’s our company began to grow, establishing a second office in Tampa, Florida. In 1993 we consolidated and again based our company solely out of St. Louis. We currently employ 30 skilled professionals. We work on approximately 70 apartment communities and also do commercial build-outs and residential remodeling. We are long-time members of the St. Louis Apartment Association, a member of its Product and Services Council since it began, and an SLAA Board member for three years. We specialize in our work for apartment communities - and our employees understand what it takes to keep the residents happy. We are ready for the opportunity to show you what we can do if you aren’t currently a customer, or continue an already existing working relationship.
